Steele Creek Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated, experienced Kennel Assistant to join our compassionate care team. If you love animals and take pride in providing safe, clean, and nurturing environments for our
patients — we want to hear from you.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Prior experience working in a kennel, veterinary, or animal care setting.
- Genuine love and respect for animals of all kinds.
- Ability to safely handle dogs and cats of varying temperaments and sizes.
- Strong attention to detail — feeding, medications, and cleanliness protocols.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-first attitude.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Feeding, watering, and monitoring boarding and hospitalized animals.
- Maintaining clean and sanitary kennel environments.
- Exercising and socializing animals in your care.
- Communicating observations to veterinary staff.
- Assisting with animal handling during exams and treatments as needed.
